And since I have a little boy, watching how Bimby loves his mama to death made me excited. I couldn't wait for my son, who is now 16 months old, to learn how to be really expressive of his love for me and his dad.
My favorite Kris and Bimby moment were:
1. Bimby asked Kris to cook carbonara for him. So when Kris asked why she should cook, he replied "Because I'm your love".
2. When James Yap was asking permission from Kris to bring the two boys, Joshua and Bimby, with him for an out of town trip. Joshua agrees and wants to go but Bimby doesn't want to go without his mom. So when Kris asked why can't he go alone without her, Bimby replies "Because I will die".
Oh! Simple words such as those, even without literally saying I Love You, Warms a mother's heart.
I know Kris Aquino is an actress, but seeing how much she loves her sons and how much her sons love her, is reality to me. Even just watching them made me feel their love for each other. I can say, that even if she did not succeed as a wife, she aced being a mom. :) I salute her for that.
I can't wait for my son to be as expressive of his love for his mom like Bimby, but also do not want my son to grow up too fast. I still want to cherish every minute I have with him.
